Calicos and Tortoiseshells

After my beloved male cat decided to claim my leg as his own this morning by peeing on my while I was standing like a zombie in the kitchen this morning, trying my best to wake up. It reminded me of a fun cat fact I learned yesterday that I thought I would share.

Did you know that Calicos and Tortoiseshells are actually the same genetics, the only difference is Calicos have an extra gene that also gives them white fur?

Now what to do with my butthole cat.
