A Little Gelato Never Hurt Anyone

 

My children can now say they have had Italian food. Gelato to be exact, but Italian. 

There's a new gelato place that just opened in our town and I thought it would be a nice short ride on our busy Sunday afternoon. The boys weren't sure at first, if they wanted gelato, but once I explained to them it was like ice cream, they were all in and super excited. 

The shop was cute, with a wonderful staff. They explained to use gelato newbies what was good on the menu and the boys went right for their favorite flavors of watermelon, lime and bubblegum. I'm not a fruity kind of person like my kids and their father, but they also had a turtle gelato that was to die for.

I do recommend Oh My Gelati if you are in the neighborhood.
